The West Bay Club is an ideal place for a family vacation. Our spacious suites offer up to 3 and 4 bedrooms, plenty of living space and large well-appointed kitchens. Think about spending some time with your gang on the shores of the world’s best beach, while relaxing in luxurious comfort.

Our kid friendly pool has a shallow end for the little ones to splash in. The onsite restaurant Atlantic Bar & Grill is kids friendly and offers a special menu just for them.

There’s plenty to do here in paradise to burn off that youthful energy. Of course our beautiful by nature setting starts in your backyard, where calm clear waters are perfect for the whole family to enjoy. We offer a variety of beach toys along with the simple pleasures of building a sand castle or burying your kid brother in the sand.

Great snorkeling is a short walk down the beach (we have all the gear including life jackets for the kids), the Hobiecat and the kayaks are waiting for you to use . Our friendly staff can arrange all sorts of water activities, too – parasailing, banana boat rides or half day boat trips. How about a ride on a semi-submarine, where you en enjoy the underwater world without even getting wet? Or a treasure hunt on an island once inhabited by pirates.

Turks & Caicos is well known for its great scuba diving and fishing. We can get the whole family set up with expert instruction and trips that everyone will enjoy. Tennis, Golf, or mini golf – all are available in Provo. Other kid friendly activities nearby include a go cart track and arcade at TCI Fun World.

To help wind down and spend some quality time, families will enjoy our collection of movies, books, games to keep everyone occupied. Movie night is every night! If parents would like some ‘adult time’ or a romantic dinner out on the town, we can arrange for reliable babysitting service.

A family reunion maybe, asks us to organize a private dinner by the pool or on the beach and don’t forget to capture all the memories with a professional photo shoot.

West Bay Club – a perfect family vacation!

Directly in front of your accommodations you’ll find a wide swath of calm beach that is ideal for relaxing, strolling, shell hunting and lounging in our rejuvenating waters. We offer attentive beach service to bring you cold drinks and ensure your comfort. Comfortable loungers, fresh towels and plenty of beach toys are available as well to give you a complete and relaxing beach experience.

Just to the west of our property is a brand new children’s park that features a wide assortment of equipment for kids, a beach volleyball court, picnic tables and its own stretch of beach as well. Across the street from the park is our National Environmental Center where the beauty and complexity of the Turks and Caicos natural ecosystem is on display. Here you can learn about the variety of native species – both on land and in the water – that exist here. The Center offers helpful information on preserving our environment, as well as tips on various activities such as fishing, boating, scuba diving, and bird watching.

Just a short walk in the other direction along the beach brings you to the Coral Gardens snorkeling spot, renowned for its vibrant reef system that is just off shore. Even a beginner snorkeler will find it an easy and fun experience to wade in and enjoy a colorful display of fish and the occasional turtle and sting rays cruising by as well. Providenciales’ other famous snorkeling spot, Smith’s Reef, is also just a short walk from West Bay Club, and has easy beach access as well. Smith’s Reef is about 10 minute walk to the west, past the Children’s Park.

West Bay Club is a short 5 minute drive to the Turtle Cove Marina, which is the main boating center for Turks and Caicos. At ‘the pond’ you’ll find several casual restaurants right on the water, as well as scuba and charter fishing operators, a video rental store and a water sports supplier. It’s the ideal place to sip on a cool drink and watch the mega yachts come in through the cut from the open ocean.

Along the way to Turtle Cove is The Player’s Club casino, which offers a full complement of table games such as black jack, roulette, craps, and video slots. It also hosts regular poker tournaments for beginners and veterans alike. A full service bar and several big screen TVs make it a great place to watch a game once you’ve finished testing lady luck.

For those of you in need of a little stimulation, here are some ideas for things to do:

First start with water sports (and there are lots of them!) and our unique marine environment which makes us a top spot for scuba divers, fishermen, wind surfers and other aqua-adventurers. Check out the list of things to do in and around the water here. We can recommend our favorite operators for any kinds of water activities you can imagine, and help with the details of your adventure. Many operators will pick you up right at West Bay Club, with some even coming right on the beach.

On land here in Providenciales, we can help arrange an island tour. Popular attractions include: •Cheshire Hall Plantation, site of an old cotton plantation •The Conch Farm, where you can see how our most famous delicacy is raised •Blue Hills, one of the original settlements on the island and full of local charm •Chalk Sound, a stunningly beautiful inlet that is almost electric in color Providenciales also offers a championship caliber golf course (home of the 2009 Caribbean Amateur Championships), that also includes a comfortable club house open for dinner and lunch, as well as a driving range, putting green and tennis courts.

There are plenty of shopping options on the island too, with shops, boutiques, and galleries concentrated in the central Grace Bay area. Look for great bargains and designer brands at The Salt Mills Plaza, The Regent Village and Ports of Call, all within a 10 minute drive from West Bay Club.

Scooter rentals can also be arranged to tour the island. Horseback riding with Provo Ponies is a fun adventure, with riding instruction available and beach rides available most every day. And, for the rally adventurous, take a guided ATV tour of the remote beaches in the northwest corner of our island.

If you want to get out on the water and explore, consider an island hopping tour with Silver Deep, Big Blue or Catch The Wave. They can take you to some of the nearby islands like Little Water Cay (home of our famous iguana sanctuary), Pine Cay (make sure to stop at the aptly named Sand Dollar Point), Fort George Cay (where you can see the remains of old British navy cannons that once protected the island), Dellis Cay (soon to be home to an exclusive private island community) and Parrot Cay (where you might spot a movie idol or rock star), Most tour operators will arrange for a lunch – maybe even a freshly-caught fish and conch BBQ on the beach! They can even drop you in idyllic seclusion on a remote beach and pick you up later in the day.

A ferry service can shuttle you to North Caicos in about 25 minutes. North Caicos is a throwback in time with a small population, lush green vegetation, flocks of wild pink flamingoes and friendly local people that will welcome you with open arms. It’s a great way to get a glimpse of island life from years gone by.

From North Caicos you can drive across the causeway to Middle Caicos and experience that island’s natural beauty, including the scenic Mudjin Harbor beach, the historic Bambarra settlement, and the extensive network of natural caves that are fun to explore.

Snorkeling in Turks & Caicos’ Grace Bay! Snorkeling is an activity that visitors of all ages enjoy in the Turks and Caicos, and Grace Bay is the best place to do it! Offering much of the same scenic and exciting views as scuba, but without any kind of formal training or expensive equipment, snorkeling is a great way to pass the time at West Bay Club.

Here on the shores of Grace Bay we are fortunate to be within short walking distance to the two best snorkeling spots in all of Turks & Caicos: Coral Gardens is a short stroll to the east of us; and Smith’s Reef is about 10 minutes to the west down the beach. Both are accessible from shore, with vibrant fish life starting just a few yards from the beach. All you need is a mask and snorkel (which we offer as a complimentary amenity at the resort), and you are good to go!

Coral Gardens and Smith's Reef are coral formations close to shore that attract a huge variety of colorful Caribbean fish and other creatures. They are a natural off shoot of the main coral reef that surround our islands, and form the third largest coral reef system in the world, perfect for unbelievable snorkeling! It is not unusual to see conch, lobster, star fish, turtles, sting rays, spotted eagle rays, even on occasion, Jojo the dolphin.
